Hey guyz I know I m late on this post . Actually I've got some personal prob last few days.

Now i came up with a pic which is actually a map of fret board.
This picture helps you to find the position of different notes on fret board.

I know it is hard to remember the above map,but who says success comes without effort. You just need to keep practising and the fret board will become rhyme which you can easily remember.

Now next i'm on to formation of major chords.
It  just follows a simple algorithm .

Algorithm:
 S    x     R   x     G    M    x     P    x    D    x     N    S
 C   C#    D   D#   E    F     F#  G   G#  A    A#  B    C (Example)
Place each note under each of above algorithm symbol.
So to form a C Major scale you just have to eliminate the notes under 'x'.
Similarly do it for C#,D,D#........

Chords in C Major Scale
C Major - C
D minor  - D
E minor  -  E
F Major - F
G Major - G
A minor  - A
G dominant 7th - B

The shapes and position of these chords will be in next post.
In the next post i will also tell you how to play c scale notes on the 12 frets of guitar. That exercise makes your leading strong. If any video tutorial is required do comment...
